BDO appoints a trio of new partner hires

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has appointed Gordon Whiley, David Reeves and Chi Ha as partners.

Whiley joins BDO as an audit partner and will be based in the group’s London office. Prior to BDO he worked at Deloitte. He specialises in working with large listed businesses in the natural resources and energy sector.

Meanwhile, Reeves joins the firm as partner in the Financial Services audit team. He brings over 20 years’ experience to the firm with a focus on supporting businesses across the asset management sector. He comes from EY and will be based in BDO’s Edinburgh office.

Lastly, Ha joins BDO as partner in the financial services tax team. Ha brings a wealth of tax experience and will focus on delivering tax advisory services including fund structuring and European investor tax reporting to traditional and alternative asset managers. Ha will be based in the firm’s London office and joins from PwC.
