Forvis Mazars has announced the appointment of Jenn Hazlehurst as its latest audit partner and head of audit transformation, based in the firm’s North West office.
Hazlehurst, who has more than 20 years of experience in the sector, joins the firm from EY where she was Liverpool office managing partner. Prior to that, she also held a senior role at Deloitte.
As head of audit transformation, she will join the audit executive of Forvis Mazars in the UK and will be responsible for evolving the firm’s audit and assurance business through technology.
Working across Liverpool and Manchester as audit partner, Hazlehurst will deal with the industry and services sector and will be responsible for developing the team’s presence in the North West, whilst also growing its public interest entity audit offering in the region.
Dave Hilton, Manchester office managing partner at Forvis Mazars, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jenn into our growing team in the North West. We are confident that she will be a valuable addition to our team as we continue to expand our offering.
“Having worked with a wide range of key businesses in the region, she will play a pivotal role in serving existing and attracting new clients as we continue to grow our audit practice.”
Hazlehurst joins the firm at a period of “significant” opportunity, following the recent launch of Forvis Mazars – formed from Mazars, the international audit, tax, and advisory firm, and Forvis, a top ranked firm in the United States.
