Forvis Mazars has announced the appointment of Jon Marchant to the role of dedicated office managing partner for the firm’s Bristol office.

Marchant has taken on the role from Amy Reynolds, who remains in the firm but is stepping aside after four and a half years as office managing partner to focus on other responsibilities.

He joined the firm in 2014, becoming an audit partner in 2018. Marchant has over 25 years of experience auditing and advising organisations of all sizes and across a number of sectors, including manufacturing, technology and retail, and currently leads Forvis Mazars’ mid-market audit team in the South West.

In his new role, Marchant will be responsible for developing Forvis Mazars’ business strategy in Bristol with a key focus for the team to grow its mid-market and public interest entity audit offering.

As well as expanding its private client services, Forvis Mazars aims to further support businesses and individuals in the region and give them access to everything they need under one roof.

Marchant said: “I’m thrilled to be appointed as office managing partner for Forvis Mazars’ Bristol office. It is a great honour to be entrusted with continuing our office’s successes which we have seen in recent years.

“It’s an exciting time as we look to expand both our team and offering, alongside taking advantage of the new benefits coming from our new global network, which gives us a real opportunity to demonstrate our unique offering to clients in the region.”
