RSM UK has announced it is set to open a newly refurbished and expanded office in Cambridge as it seeks to grow its market presence in the city and surrounding East Anglian market.

The newly refurbished office expands from just over 3,000 sq ft to a significantly larger premises measuring nearly 5,400 sq ft.

RSM first moved to Cambridge in 2018, placing the firm in the heart of the city’s thriving business community in Cambridge North.

The firm is looking to fulfil its longer-term ambition to become the leading advisory firm to the middle market in the city and wider region.

With seven partners and three directors based there, this move marks a commitment to the Cambridge market and surrounding region.

Helen Brocklebank, RSM’s regional managing partner, said: “Cambridge has one of the fastest growth rates of any British city, and it is hugely important globally as a centre of technology and research excellence. That’s why the growth of our team in East Anglia is a key element of our business strategy.

“I look forward to working with Laragh and the partners to continue growing the team and our brand presence locally. Their broad experience is invaluable to RSM’s existing clients in the region, and will continue to ensure we offer the region’s leading service and grow our presence in this key market.”

Laragh Jeanroy, office managing partner in Cambridge, added: “From our enlarged and refurbished office in Cambridge, we hope to deepen our relationships with the local business community – particularly fast-growing middle market businesses – drawing on advisory expertise from across our regional, national and international network.

“Geographically, the Cambridgeshire market forms an important part of our wider regional strategic growth plan. Having that expanded physical presence in Cambridge will act as the enabler to continue growing, and to provide an on-site capability to clients based in and around Cambridge.”
