Audit, tax, advisory and risk firm Crowe has appointed four new partners across its Corporate Tax, Business Solutions and Social Purpose and Non Profit divisions.

As business solutions partner, Kay Monks has over a decade of experience working closely with UK businesses and international groups looking to expand into the UK market and guiding them through each stage of their business lifecycle – from formation to growth and market exits. She also helps clients address matters such as global growth, accounting and tax compliance, working capital and operational requirements.

Monks specialises in working with retail and e-commerce companies, particularly direct to consumer brands, as well as with asset management, motorsport, tech and media businesses.

In addition to her client work, she also drives key business development and management initiatives within the firm. She also supports the firms Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives as one of Crowe’s Women Empowerment Programme ambassadors.

Sarah Riches has also been promoted to Corporate Tax partner with over 13 years’ experience providing audit support to businesses across many industries, having worked on major international groups including those listed on the FTSE and AIM markets and large private UK clients.

Having joined Crowe in 2021, Riches has extensive experience working with both IFRS and UK GAAP clients in the professional services, consumer, and real estate sectors. As partner, she will continue to work on several large and technically complex audits across an array of industry sectors alongside the London Corporate Audit team.

In addition, in Forensics Tim Robinson has been an asset to Crowe’s Forensics team since 2017, providing specialist help to organisations in a range of industries, ensuring they are accurately protected against the latest manifestations of cybercrime and fraud. Heworks closely with his clients to build and maintain resilience where weaknesses are identified and support them in managing their response.

Finally, Helen Blundell joins the partnership with more than 20 years of experience and an ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA). She works closely with a diverse range of clients from local charities to organisations operating nationally and internationally. Having joined Crowe in 2023 as a Director RI (Responsible Individual), her experience spans audits, independent examinations, and advisory.

Her advisory work has included governance reviews, corporate structures, and registration support across a range of sub-sectors, including faith-based groups, heritage charities, health and welfare, education, and art organisations.
