EQ Accountants has announced 33 promotions across its external and internal services, as it looks ahead to 2024/25.

Within its technical team, Kelly Meiklejohn and Anna Coff have been named senior managers; Josh Lumgair, Barbara Shaw and Angela Simpson to supervisors; Megan Bertie and Ross Dallas to seniors; Greg Stapley to partner; Roshannah Cox and Chris Price to managers; Sanna Saleem to semi-senior; Michelle Murray to principal manager; Kirstin Stark to senior manager; Gary Dempster to manager; Callum MacDonald and Sam Walker to supervisors; and Chloe Hunter to senior. 

The promotions come in recognition of their “exceptional skills and dedication”.

Within the firm’s business services team, Ruth Phillips has been named assistant manager; Jane Black to senior manager; Hannah Hutchison, Louise Millar and Laura Nicol to managers; Rebecca Dalziel-Lavery and Cheryl Watson to assistant managers; and Terri-anne Carmichael, Lucy Clark, Sarah Howe and Chloe Leslie to semi-seniors for playing “a crucial role in supporting a diverse portfolio of clients”.

Within the admin team, Gillian Mitchell has been named senior manager, while Lynn Mitchell and Ruth Watson have been promoted to supervisors. 

Finally, the firm has promoted Liam Cruickshank to the role of head of internal finance within the finance and IT department. He will be responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, MI reporting, refining internal finance processes, technology utilisation, and team expansion to support our growth plans.
