Ballards LLP, a regional accounting and professional services firm, officially opened its new Birmingham city centre office.
Andy Street, Mayor of the West Midlands, was on hand to cut the ribbon and deliver remarks praising Ballards’ investment in the local economy.
Street said: “Ballards’ impressive new offices reflect the company’s continued growth and commitment to Birmingham. It also shows that market confidence in Birmingham as a financial and professional hub remains strong with the city fast becoming a key player in financial services for the UK.
“I look forward to seeing Ballards continue to go from strength to strength in their new location in the months and years ahead.”
Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Droitwich, Ballards LLP has experienced growth in recent years, doubling its workforce to over 120 professionals. The firm’s expansion into Birmingham represents a “major milestone”, driven by increased demand from clients across the greater Birmingham region, particularly in corporate finance.
James Syree, CEO of Ballards, said: “We have seen increasing client demand from businesses across the Birmingham region, and having a physical presence here is critical to providing the responsive, high-touch service that is a hallmark of Ballards. Our new centrally located Birmingham office will enable us to better serve our existing regional client base while also connecting with Birmingham’s thriving business community.
“Having boots on the ground here gives us a tremendous advantage, allowing us to build deeper relationships and quickly respond to client needs. I am extremely confident that this new Birmingham location will drive the next chapter of growth for Ballards.”
