Deloitte has introduced its new PairD chatbot to 75,000 staff across Europe and the Middle East, according to reports from the Financial Times.
Staff given access to the generative AI chatbot, which has been in use since October, can use it to create presentations in PowerPoint, as well as write emails and code.
Deloitte is said to have developed the tool in-house in its AI Academy, an AI training programme it runs for clients.
However the FT has reported that staff have been warned that the tool may produce “inaccurate information about people, places and facts”.
Users have been told that they must perform due diligence to assure “accuracy and completeness”.
This latest report is yet another example of the Big Four’s intention to harness AI.
It follows news that EY has been using artificial intelligence to help spot fraud as part of its auditing business.
