Audit, tax, advisory and risk firm, Crowe, has recently appointed Emma Reynolds to partner.

Reynolds has more than 17 years of experience and has been with Crowe since 2016. She specialises in corporate taxes and is based in the firm’s Kent office.

Alongside advising clients on corporate tax compliance and planning issues, she is part of the national tax team working on advisory projects across the wider firm.

Supporting a range of sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, technology and renewables, she assists high-growth owner-managed businesses and mid-sized corporations with their compliance and business and shareholder tax planning, particularly as they look to scale their business and prepare for future sale.

She also has expertise in guiding businesses through complex corporate reorganisations and other transaction-related tax due diligence. This M&A work often involves collaborating with Crowe’s corporate finance teams nationally, ensuring a consistent and joined-up advisory approach throughout every stage of the deal lifecycle.

On top of her client work, she is a champion for equity, diversity and inclusion, acting as an ambassador for Crowe’s Women’s Empowerment Programme (WEP) and forming part of the WEP Steering Group.

Regarding her appointment Reynolds said: “Tax transactional work exposes me to a range of exciting projects and teams. I love the buzz of working collaboratively with our corporate finance colleagues, clients and their legal advisors to get deals across the line, particularly as the mid-market deals space continues to be buoyant.

“I am committed to helping to shape the future of this incredible firm as I begin my new role and feel lucky to work with so many talented colleagues in helping clients to navigate the UK’s complex tax regime as they grow and progress along their business journeys.”

Nigel Bostock, chief executive of Crowe UK, said: “Emma is a core part of our Tax team providing tax transaction support services across the South East and beyond. Her work helps to ensure clients’ business and growth plans can be achieved while remaining mindful of the tax considerations.

“Emma’s ambassadorial duties in the firm’s ED&I and WEP groups are also cause for  celebration and will continue to be an important part of her ongoing contribution to the firm’s culture as she joins the partnership.”
