Big Four accountancy firm, EY has announced it is to form a tax partnership with Thomson Reuters.

The partnership will see Thomson Reuters Onesource tax technology combined with EY’s tax technology transformation (TTT) to extend both company’s tax offerings, allowing them to deal with more complex tax issues.

Kate Barton, EY global vice chair for tax, said: “With the rapid rise in platform-based technology in the form of cloud and other secure access platforms, tax departments are beginning to solve problems, source business solutions and interact with tax authorities in a whole different way.”
