James Cowper Kreston has announced the appointment of Daniel Fowler as the new senior manager out of the firm’s Reading office and Scott Cropper as the assistant manager of the Newbury office. Both additions join the private client services team.

Fowler has over 25 years of experience in private client practice, having spent over 20 years at Evelyn Partners. His experience includes advising high-net worth individuals, families and business owners on all areas of personal tax, including trusts, private equity, rural matters and estate planning.

Meanwhile, Cropper joins from Azets with over six years of experience in private client tax services.

Sharon Omer-Kaye, partner and head of private client services at James Cowper Kreston, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Daniel and Scott to the team. As a firm we continue to expand so that we can widen our service offering, to deliver the best service and advice for our clients, who remain at the heart of our business.

“The additional knowledge and expertise that Daniel and Scott bring with them to our growing private client service team, strengthen our ability to help our clients to maximise their potential.”

Fowler said: “I am delighted to be joining James Cowper Kreston. I am very much looking forward to helping drive further success for the Private Client Services team, by focusing on delivering exceptional advice and client service.”

Cropper added: “I have joined James Cowper Kreston from Azets, where I spent the first 6 years of my professional career after leaving school. I have a lot of compliance experience as well as a lot of capital gains tax advisory experience.

“The exposure to a much wider range of work together with training from exceptional people, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic team were the key reasons as to why I joined James Cowper Kreston.”
