The Nottingham office of UHY Hacker Young has announced the promotion of Dave Allum to partner.
Allum joined UHY’s Nottingham office in 2002 as an audit senior, progressing through the ranks and a range of roles to become one of seven Nottingham partners.
He has developed his specialism of supporting owner-managed businesses with their complex needs, including the nuances of charitable organisations.
Allum said: “From strategic advice to succession planning and post-Brexit implications for international business, it is incredibly rewarding to work with members of the Nottingham team and other UHY offices to help our clients across the UK, and internationally, prosper.
“I also have a strong interest in supporting charities and enjoy the challenge of applying concepts from the commercial environment to help these organisations become more financially sustainable.”
Andrew Timms, managing partner at the Nottingham office of UHY Hacker Young, added: “Dave continues to deliver exceptional audit and business advisory support to solve the complex and ever-changing problems faced by the owner-managed businesses and charitable organisations that we work with.
“As one of our longest-serving members of the Nottingham team, Dave’s promotion shows the development opportunities that UHY has become synonymous with, and we are delighted to make him our newest partner as part of our continued growth through our five-year plan, and beyond.”
The UHY Hacker Young Group has 95 partners and more than 640 professional team members working from 23 locations around the country.
