Accountancy firm Moore East Midlands has recently announced the appointment of Michelle Watson as partner of the company.

Based at the firm’s Peterborough office, Watson has been instrumental in growing the firm’s portfolio of Owner Managed Business (OMB) clients. She has almost 30 years of experience working with clients of all sizes and specialises in providing advice to subsidiaries of overseas companies wanting to set up business in the UK.

In addition, she manages the business support department in Peterborough and is the office lead on accounting software and making tax digital, ensuring that clients are always up-to-date with the latest developments in this rapidly evolving area.

Geoff Norman, managing partner at Moore’s Peterborough office, said: “I am delighted to welcome Michelle to the firm’s leadership team. Michelle has been an integral part of our team for many years, and we are thrilled to recognise her hard work and dedication with this promotion.

“She has a deep understanding of the needs of our clients and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure they receive the best possible service. I know she will continue to make an exceptional contribution to the firm and our clients as partner.”
