Accountancy and business advisory firm Xeinadin has expanded its Southend office with the addition of TBL Accountants.

The move is intended to increase advisory support for small, owner-managed businesses and charities across Essex.

The TBL team, which has experience in taxation, VAT, payroll, and business consultancy, focuses on supporting not-for-profit organisations and local businesses. The combined Southend office now comprises 22 staff members.

Clients will now have access to Xeinadin’s national tax and corporate finance support, alongside digital tools such as webinars on government Budgets and regulatory changes. Partners Paul Stafford and Lisa Keith will continue to lead the team from the Southend office.

Stafford and Keith will work alongside area managing partner Ian Hornsey. The office will continue to provide financial management and strategic advice while utilising the resources of the national practice.

Partner at Xeinadin Paul Stafford said: “The reality is, we work with small, owner-managed businesses, the people who don’t have big budgets but who need and value local support. That’s always been our focus, and it’s exactly what Xeinadin is about too. Joining Xeinadin allows us to keep doing what we do best but with more support behind the scenes.”

Managing partner for South Essex at Xeinadin Ian Hornsey added: “This is a team we’ve known and respected for some time. They’re trusted by their clients because they offer real advice, not just reports and that’s exactly what we believe in. It’s great to have them in the building, and even better to have them as part of Xeinadin.”
