Forvis Mazars has appointed Shivani Bhattessa as partner, Audit Quality Enablement and Operations, based in the firm’s London office.

In her new role, Bhattessa will focus on the growth of the firm’s global audit delivery team, working to build a culture that supports the consistent delivery of high-quality audits for clients.

She will also continue to lead the firm’s Audit Quality Transformation Programme (AQTP), which was introduced in October 2023 to enhance operational excellence and improve the client experience through consistent, high-quality processes.

Bhattessa brings over 20 years of experience to the role, having led various audit teams and delivered significant audit-quality related transformation initiatives.

Her work at the firm will focus on driving efficiency and ensuring that the audit approach remains robust, scalable, and sustainable for the long term.

Stephen Mills, audit COO at Forvis Mazars, said: “Shivani brings a breadth of experience and insight to this role and will be instrumental in enhancing our audit quality and operational capabilities. Her appointment strengthens our vision for the future of audit and reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional audit quality and an outstanding client experience.”

Bhattessa added: “I’m delighted to take on this new role at such a significant moment for our audit practice. By transforming the operational backbone of our audit delivery, we will create a client experience that is smoother, more insightful, and focused on long-term value.

“I’m passionate about building an environment where our people are empowered to deliver their best, because that’s what ultimately elevates the experience for our clients.”
