FTS Recovery has announced the appointment of Nicola Baker as a new insolvency practitioner in its Manchester office, as the firm continues a wider recruitment drive during a period of growth.
Baker, who has worked in corporate and personal insolvency for 20 years, previously served as director at Rushtons Insolvency.
In her new role, Baker will work with qualified insolvency practitioner and FTS Recovery director Alan Coleman to oversee an eleven-person team.
The firm has expanded in recent years into what it describes as one of the UK’s fastest growing restructuring practices. Its services include insolvent liquidation, administration and company voluntary arrangements, as well as members’ voluntary liquidations and personal insolvency.
Coleman: “Bringing on board extraordinary talent like Nicola is a key part of our growth strategy. Her varied experience helping business owners make the right decisions for the future of their businesses made her a perfect fit for Fts Recovery as we continue to expand upon our reach and offerings to our clients.
“I am a firm believer that the quality of the service we offer is only as good as the quality of the people we employ, and Nicola’s years of experience and dedication to her clients made her a perfect candidate.”
Baker added: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the outstanding team at Fts Recovery. Its commitment to building personal relationships with its clients really resonates with me. It is an environment in which I know I can flourish, and where I will have the chance to work closely with businesses and individuals to help them navigate often challenging financial circumstances to achieve the best possible outcomes.”
