The international accountancy and business advisory group said 13 of the promotions were to partner level, with the remaining 20 to director positions.

Among the new partners are four in accounting and business advisory services: Andrew Isaacs and David Holden in Cardiff, Katie Watson in Hertford, and Luke Morgan in Portsmouth.

Three audit and assurance partners have been promoted – Alistair Campbell in Hertford, Sarah Simpson in Newcastle, and Angela Ingham in Wynyard – along with two in corporate finance, Gordon Burns in Glasgow and Mike Williams in Wynyard.

Four new partners were appointed in tax: Luke Wheal in Blandford Forum, Oliver John in Cardiff, Lorna Stark in Guildford, and Jez Howson in Southampton.

At director level, the firm promoted five in accounting and business advisory services – Jamie Harding in Durham, Nicola Barberis in London, James Dickman in Maidstone, Farran Kerr and Iain Black in Perth.

Meanwhile, six new audit and assurance directors include Joel Fentem in Birmingham, Tom Ramsden in Bristol, Patrick Newman in Newcastle, Gemma Wright in Peterborough, Stuart Chapman in Sidcup, and Megan Walker in Wolverhampton.

Other appointments include one new corporate finance director, Ashtee Archer in London; one restructuring and insolvency director, Martin Woodall in Manchester; six tax directors – Martin Keenan in Glasgow, Heather Tulloch in Hertford, Kathryn Walshaw in Kettering, Emma Hussey in London, Dale Nott in Maidstone, and Helen Fraser in Poole – and one new wealth management director, Omar Din in Newcastle.

Peter Gallanagh, chief executive of Azets UK&I, said: “Our newly promoted partners and directors represent the next generation of leaders helping our clients and colleagues move forward with confidence. Each has demonstrated exceptional commitment, expertise, and ambition, and I’m proud to see their achievements recognised as part of our continued investment in people and growth across the UK.”
