Menzies LLP and Beever and Struthers have announced a merger, creating a national firm with a combined fee income of £110m and a workforce of more than 1,000 professionals.
The agreement brings together Menzies, headquartered in London, and Beever and Struthers in Manchester.
With a combined national footprint of offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and across the South East, the new entity significantly expands its regional reach and sector strength.
The merger enhances Menzies’ position as a full-service firm and brings in Beever and Struthers’ expertise across the not-for-profit, education, and social housing sectors. Founded in 1912, Menzies delivers a full range of accountancy and advisory services, including audit, tax, accounts advisory, financial planning, and transaction support.
Simon Massey, managing partner, Menzies LLP, said: “The merger with Beever and Struthers is a defining moment for Menzies. Their reputation in the not-for-profit, education, and social housing sectors is unmatched.
“This merger enables us to scale with purpose, deepen our sector specialisms, and continue investing in our people, clients, and future growth. Together, we’re building a truly national firm that stands out for quality, expertise, and trusted relationships.”
Caroline Monk, executive partner, Beever and Struthers, added: “In a market where consolidation is often driven by private equity, this merger stands apart. It is rooted in shared independence, cultural alignment, and a mutual commitment to delivering lasting value and service excellence.”
Beever and Struthers was founded over 100 years ago and is a member of HLB International. It is the number one audit provider to the social housing sector.
