AuditBoard has expanded its partnership with Deloitte to offer tailored governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions and local support for joint clients in Germany and across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
As part of AuditBoard’s recent entry into the German market, Deloitte Germany has set up a centre of excellence to help implement AuditBoard’s platform. The team will provide training, resources and consulting tailored to German regulatory requirements and client needs.
The move comes as organisations increasingly adopt artificial intelligence (AI) platforms to improve productivity in internal audit and GRC functions. A survey of 232 German audit managers found that 66% plan audits at least partly manually, making it harder to allocate resources effectively and respond quickly to risks. More than two-thirds also use manual or partly manual reporting processes, limiting the timeliness and analytical depth of risk reporting.
Bert Glorieux, partner at Deloitte Germany, said: “The expanded alliance comes at just the right time to help organisations transform their audit and risk processes.
“With Deloitte’s extensive industry experience and AuditBoard’s innovative technology, German clients can optimise their governance, risk and compliance processes, realise efficiency gains and achieve better business results.”
Ravi Patel, director of alliances EMEA at AuditBoard, added: “This collaboration builds on the success of the Deloitte and AuditBoard partnership to date, which has delivered successful implementations and measurable results for hundreds of major clients.
“Together, we will deliver sustainable value to our clients in Germany and promote excellence in audit and compliance.”
AuditBoard said its growth is partly driven by AuditBoard AI, an intelligent solution that supports advanced workflows in audit, risk and compliance, helping teams save time and focus on strategic issues.
