BK Plus has continued its expansion in the Scottish market with the acquisition of four firms: Walton Kilgour (Perth and Pitlochry), Ian MacFarlane and Co (Falkirk), JC Wallace and Co (Glasgow), and Bird Simpson and Co (Dundee).

The expansion brings the group’s UK presence to 29 offices and a team of over 600 staff. In Scotland alone, BK Plus now operates from five locations, with more than 150 professionals.

Unlike some national consolidators, the group takes a local-first approach—working with teams who are already embedded in their local business networks and keeping leadership and client relationships in place post-acquisition.

Since launching in 2021, BK Plus has completed 35 acquisitions, building a national footprint in just over four years.

Shaun Knight, BK Plus CEO, said: “We believe in local people delivering local services to local businesses. That’s what drives our growth. Since arriving in Scotland just six months ago, we’ve been approached by firms who see the value of what we’re doing—combining personal service with the scale and technical strength of a wider national team. These new additions reflect our commitment to Scotland as a region we’re actively investing in. And we’re only just getting started.”

Ed Hill, BK Plus managing director, added: “Our integration model has been built to minimise disruption. It’s repeatable, it’s structured, and it works. From onboarding staff to migrating systems and aligning values, we’ve invested in a scalable process that lets firms join us with confidence, but it’s not about control—it’s about supporting people to do what they do best.”
