Evelyn Partners has announced the appointment of Victoria Kiddy as its new audit director in the firm’s Cambridge office, as it continues its expansion in the East of England.
Kiddy has joined the Cambridge professional services arm of Evelyn Partners, which will shortly separate into a standalone business called S&W, from EY where she was a senior manager in the audit division.
Having joined EY directly from Loughborough University in 2010, Kiddy spent just over 15 years working with firms ranging from private start-ups through to large, listed companies.
Her appointment is the latest step in the firm’s “rapid” nationwide expansion of professional services business, which has included several acquisitions and numerous hires over the past two years.
The firm’s leading partners in the East of England, Stephen Drew and Mark Prince, have focused on building the audit client portfolio and have added substantially to headcount at the Cambridge office in the last year, including four graduate programme associates.
Drew said: “The growth of the Cambridge office has been remarkable over the last 12 months, and we have ambitious plans, both in terms of headcount and revenue growth.
“The natural progression for our audit service was to bring in a senior hire to support and provide additional leadership, and Victoria’s audit, management and sector experience fulfil this brief for our team perfectly. We’re looking forward to seeing Victoria thrive in her new role.”
Kiddy added: “I’m very excited to be joining Evelyn Partners, which has an expanding and thriving professional services business that will soon stand on its own as S&W.
“Audit is my focus but I feel there is a great opportunity to develop my career at the firm where, from a business perspective, the growth potential and vision of the company are highly attractive.”
