Cooper Parry’s David Kendrick – head of north and corporate finance partner – has been nominated for the ‘Professional Services Leader’ award at the 2025 Leadership Awards.

It follows UHY Hacker Young offloading its Manchester business to Cooper Parry in September 2024 – a deal Kendrick led as both UHY’s CEO and corporate finance specialist.

Following the deal, Kendrick assumed the role as head of north and corporate finance partner at Cooper Parry.

Due to take place on 27 March at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, the north west business community will get together to celebrate the region’s top business leaders.

Working closely with his portfolio of clients, Kendrick delivers “market-leading” advice on accountancy, taxation and corporate finance, while directing the growth of the 170-person north west team.

He is also heavily involved in the deals side of the business, being a lead adviser on over 250 transactions, with estimated transaction proceeds of over £2bn.

Ade Cheatham, CEO of Cooper Parry, said: “Having spent countless hours with David learning about him and his team before they joined CP, I know how well-deserved this nomination is.

“The team he’s created and the reputation he’s built in the North are exceptional. I can’t wait to see how the next chapter unfolds in 2025 and beyond.”
