Crowe appoints two partners to Corporate Audit team

Audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm Crowe has appointed Kate Stent and Matt Daniels as partners to its Corporate Audit team.

Stent joins Crowe’s Thames Valley office with 30 years of experience in corporate audit. Having worked on a wide variety of clients from smaller privately owned companies to large subsidiaries of overseas groups, she has a wealth of expertise in delivering corporate audits under UK GAAP and IFRS.

She has worked with clients within the services and leisure sectors, sales, and distribution businesses, as well as manufacturing clients in the medical and electrical industries. She also has experience working with and supporting the growth of private equity backed businesses.

Regarding her appointment, Stent said: “It’s fantastic to be joining the team at such a dynamic time for Crowe’s Thames Valley Office and I’m excited to be joining the partnership and playing a role in the firm’s ongoing expansion and growth story at both regional and national level.

Daniels has been promoted to partner in Crowe’s Corporate Audit team with more than 20 years of experience providing audit and accountancy support to businesses across a multitude of industries, from technology and retail to distribution and manufacturing. He is also based in the firm’s new Thames Valley office. 

He joined Crowe in 2007 and over his tenure has gained extensive experience with both UK GAAP and IFRS clients. He has a wide array of experience working with owner-managed businesses, private equity backed businesses and large international groups.
