BDO managing partner elect Mark Shaw has announced his new leadership team which will be effective from 1 October.

The team has been described by Shaw as the one “to build on BDO’s heritage while looking to its future”.

The firm’s new leadership team will include:

  • Dominic Stammers, head of audit
  • Adam Fraid, head of tax
  • Gurpal Ahluwalia, head of deals
  • Leigh Treacy, head of consulting, risk and outsourcing
  • Kyla Bellingal, regions, markets and sectors
  • Scott Knight, growth, strategy and international
  • Anna Draper, people, culture and purpose
  • Kaley Crossthwaite, quality and risk
  • Andy Butterworth, chief operating officer (operations and finance)
  • Gervase MacGregor, governance, reputation and legal

Shaw said: “Today’s world is uncertain and changeable with UK businesses facing challenges and opportunities like never before. BDO has a history of thriving during uncertain times, stretching back over 100 years to its formation. At the same time, BDO has been a firm that has looked ahead to opportunities on the horizon.

“BDO’s new leadership team – a mix of continuity and new faces – will continue to do this by building on BDO’s heritage while looking to our future.”

He added: “As we open a new chapter of the BDO story, I know that this is a team that will be resolutely focused on the needs of our people and the requirements of mid-sized businesses. Mid-sized businesses continue to be BDO’s market heartland. By creating one in four jobs and being responsible for a third of UK turnover, these businesses are the backbone of the British economy.”
