HW Fisher has appointed Andrew Tall as a new Corporate Tax partner.

Tall is ACA and CTA qualified and has more than 25 years’ experience managing a range of clients, from micro-companies and non-resident landlords to large multinational groups.

He joins the firm from Greenback Alan LLP and advises on a full range of Corporation Tax services from R&D claims to M&A due diligence, and transaction tax planning.

Tall also volunteers for the ICAEW, where he sits on the SME Business Tax committee, and the Compliance and Interventions committee of the Tax Faculty. His work with the Tax Faculty includes reviewing and commenting on proposed tax legislation, liaising with HMRC and industry experts, as well as writing technical articles. He is also an ICAEW representative on HMRC’s Compliance Reform Forum.

Andrew Rich, managing partner at HW Fisher, said: “The leadership team at HW Fisher is thrilled to welcome Andrew to the firm. An experienced professional, he brings technical expertise and an intrinsic understanding of client servicing to the practice. His arrival will strengthen our Corporate Tax practice and enhance the team’s ability to meet the increasingly complex needs of our clients.”

Tall added: “This is an exciting time to be joining HW Fisher, a forward-looking, ambitious, and well-respected firm. The industry remains competitive, and I look forward to applying my experience and knowledge to service clients, help grow the firm and expand its existing client base.”
