ReSolve, the boutique business advisory, restructuring and investment practice, has named Larry Jobsz as the latest appointment to join the firm as partner.
An industry veteran with over 30 years’ experience, Jobsz’s most recent role was as managing partner at the corporate recovery and turnaround firm Buchler Phillips, where it said he led “significant assignments for a diverse mix of clients and enjoyed huge success working with troubled companies”.
Commencing his accountancy career at Deloitte in 1989, he has worked on a variety of complex matters including high profile insolvency projects in the airline industry. Jobsz also previously headed up the forensic and investigative work, which will complement ReSolve’s corporate recovery and restructuring mindset.
Jobsz is an associate member of R3, the trade association for corporate rescue, recovery and restructuring. He is a keen golfer and cricketer, having played veterans international cricket, representing Sri Lanka in the inaugural over 50’s World Cup tournament staged in Sri Lanka in 2016.
Jobsz said: “After several years working directly with a large and diverse mix of UK enterprises, I am pleased to be joining ReSolve and focusing my efforts towards the wide range of SME businesses which form the backbone of the UK economy. I look forward to working with the highly skilled team at ReSolve to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.”
Cameron Gunn, ReSolve senior partner, added: “We are thrilled that Larry has joined the ReSolve team, armed with an array of skills across forensic and investigative work as well as unparalleled expertise in sector-specific areas including insurance and aviation.
“His impressive skillset and experience will be put to good use at ReSolve as we continue to expand our services in what is a critical time for SME’s facing a flurry of headwinds against a worrying economic backdrop.”
