TC Group has announced a merger with Murray Harcourt, the West Yorkshire accountancy firm, that has just celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The group has reportedly expanded over the last few years, with the firm establishing offices across the South East, South West, Midlands, East Yorkshire, and now West Yorkshire.

Murray Harcourt is said to be a “dynamic and forward-thinking” firm that provides accountancy, audit, tax and corporate finance services, as well as specialise in owner-managed and family businesses.

In addition, it also deals with corporate and public sector organisations and reportedly shares the same traditional values as TC, focusing on “proactive personal service and client care”.

The partners at Murray Harcourt said: “Having just celebrated our 10th anniversary we see the merger with TC Group as the next step in our evolution.

“TC Group will give us access to a considerable amount of resources with an international reach, whilst local management retains control. We see this as the best of both worlds.”

Richard Keyes, TC Group CEO, added: “TC is delighted to have merged with Murray Harcourt. They have a fantastic reputation and share our views on client care and quality of advice

“This deal also expands both firms’ capabilities and we can now offer a fuller range of services to our combined client base. We are very excited and looking forward to a prosperous future together.”
