KPMG UK has appointed Anton Krawchenko as a managing director within its debt advisory team.

Krawchenko joined the firm after spending 11 years in EY’s capital and debt advisory function as an associate partner.

In his new role, he will lead KPMG UK’s financial services debt advisory team, helping financial services, fintech and corporate clients with structured debt transactions, in addition to credit ratings advisory matters.

Nick Dodd, partner and head of debt advisory at KPMG UK, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Anton to the team. He is a highly experienced advisor with a great track record of delivering for clients across sectors, and I know his extensive network and expertise will be a great asset to our clients.”

Krawchenko added: “Our clients across sectors are turning to non-recourse funding, from forward flow through to securitisation, to finance growth, release capital and boost margins. The range of debt providers has expanded rapidly, in some deals covering every form of funder, from banks to institutions to funds.

“Options abound, even in the current environment, and the need for quality professional advice has never been greater. I’m excited to be joining KPMG and I look forward to working with the team as we help our clients to achieve their ambitions.”
