The Accountancy Partnership launches recruitment drive

The company is also supporting 19 members of staff while they study towards additional industry-recognised qualifications, such as AAT, ACCA and CIPPs.

The Accountancy Partnership, an accountancy firm providing support to entrepreneurs and SMEs across the UK, has launched a recruitment drive following continued expansion across its business.

According to the firm, it has expanded its headcount by 41% in the last 12 months, following an influx of new customers. The business has taken on 25 people in the last year and it is recruiting for a further 13 new accountancy positions.

The business also has plans to introduce a 35-hour work week without “any” impact on salary to give employees more work/life flexibility post-pandemic.

The Accountancy Partnership has recently launched a series of new progression pathways that will support payroll admin assistants to progress to payroll clerk whilst gaining “valuable” on-job experience and training. The company is also supporting 19 members of staff while they study towards additional industry-recognised qualifications, such as AAT, ACCA and CIPPs.

Following the post-pandemic return to the workplace, the firm added it has invested in its Birkenhead headquarters, which has an on-site gym, a games room and separate break rooms.

The business also sets out to look after the general wellbeing of staff, providing free lunches and smoothies and unlimited access to company-funded counselling sessions. Staff also have the chance to join quarterly staff socials and partake in sporting and charity fundraising events throughout the year.

Lee Murphy, managing director at The Accountancy Partnership, said: “People are the most important asset in any business. We want to look after our team and provide the opportunities they need to develop and grow, in a comfortable and friendly environment.

“The company has experienced fantastic growth over the past 12 months, so it’s more important than ever that we do everything in our power to make our employees’ lives easier and more enjoyable in the workplace.”

He added: “We truly believe in giving people a platform to showcase their skills, and supporting them so they can grow and develop, and reach the next milestone in their careers.

“By providing the training and qualifications needed to reach the next stage in their development, we can continue to build the experience and knowledge in our workforce while retaining the culture we have developed through the years.”
