EY has announced the acquisition of Seaton Partners Limited, a UK-based consulting firm specialising in ‘Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Applications’.

The company has one office in the East Midlands, employs 39 people and has more than 25 active clients.

EY said the acquisition supports the firm’s “ambition” to meet the organisation’s Microsoft growth plans to expand EY capacity, capabilities and market presence across its Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP is a product line of enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management intelligent business applications.

According to the firm, these technologies help companies to “operate more efficiently” and “improve business performance”.

Benoit Laclau, managing partner for consulting at EY, said: “The acquisition of Seaton Partners demonstrates the EY ambition, commitment, and dedication to supporting new and existing EY clients on their digital transformations across the UK and the world.

“We look forward to welcoming the Seaton Partners team and clients to the EY organisation at what is an exciting period of growth and development.”

Alison Kay, managing partner for client service at EY, added: “The acquisition will bring a range of new capabilities and skills to support EY clients across retail, government and automotive sectors.

“The acquisition is part of the wider EY growth strategy in the UK and Ireland and will further enhance EY tech services. In the last 18 months the acquisitions of AgilityWorks, Frank Hirth and Pythagoras have helped EY teams meet the changing needs and demands of clients.”
