Azets has announced that it is helping to raise funds for several Birmingham charities as a signatory on the new “Forward in Unity” mural in Digbeth.
Created by artist Gent 48 and art4charity, the mural memorialises Birmingham’s response to the Covid-19 crisis.
The mural has been signed by 250 contributors to the Birmingham landscape and community, including Praveen Gupta, tax partner and office managing partner with Azets Birmingham.
Prints of the mural are available to buy in varying sizes, with all proceeds donated to the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Charity, Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust, SIFA Fireside, and Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice.
Furthermore, through its own print purchase, Azets has contributed £1,000.
Gupta said: “I’m immensely proud to have been asked to contribute my signature to this incredible artwork by Gent 48 and art4charity. It’s a fabulous initiative and represents a significant piece of Birmingham history, celebrating resilience and strength through adversity.
“I would encourage anyone to visit the mural, when safe to do so, and purchase a print in support of the charities that each has a monumental impact on the health and wellbeing of Birmingham residents, particularly following 14 months of untold, unforeseen hardship.”
