Cowgills has announced it has bolstered its team following a new raft of appointments, with 14 new hires across its offices in Bolton and Manchester.
The latest appointments include the promotion of Lisa Kershaw as head of people. Having been with the firm for over 30 years, Kershaw will lead the company’s recruitment drive as the firm continues to recruit for senior positions.
The firm has also appointed its first digital marketing manager, Damian Leonard, while Charlotte Harrington has re-joined in a new role as head of finance. She previously worked with Cowgills prior to taking a career break.
Commenting on the new recruits, Kershaw said: “We’ve bolstered our team at every level to make sure we have the best people with the widest range of skills. The investment will ensure that we continue to provide our growing client base with first class business advice across the full spectrum of services from corporate finance, tax and audit, wealth planning and business recovery.
“The role of head of people is key to this and I’m incredibly proud of being a part of Cowgills. Having worked for the business for many years, I’ve seen a lot of changes including a massive 300% growth in the last ten years. The unique culture we have created continues to attract and retain superb talent and we are actively looking for additional new hires as we continue to support our growing list of clients.”
Managing partner Paul Stringer said: “Recruiting the best talent is fundamental to us being able to help our clients navigate through the coming months and we will continue to build our team and support our business growth ambitions with more strategic hires.
“We are competing with many of the country’s leading accountants and business advisors when it comes to recruitment, but the Cowgills down to earth approach, entrepreneurial ethos and culture continues to attract fantastic people to the firm.”
