Chartered accountancy firm Mitten Clarke has announced a merger with another Staffordshire-based accounting group, DJH.

Branded DJH Mitten Clarke, the combined business is set to launch on 31 March, in turn bringing together an “experienced and ambitious market-leading team”.

Mitten Clarke will continue to operate out of its Festival Park offices in Stoke-on-Trent, with DJH’s staff members joining the group following the completion of refurbishment works.

The merger will reportedly facilitate a strengthening of Mitten Clarke’s infrastructure, specialist services, and opportunity capacity, as well as enhancing the advice it can offer its client-base.

A Mitten Clarke statement read: “This decision was a surprisingly easy one. DJH is a business that shares our core values and, most importantly, a passion for people and the community within which they operate.

“Though we will be operating as one company, our clients can rely on the same personal, open and honest working relationships that they’ve had in the past and depend upon.”

Founded in 1997 and 1984 respectively, Mitten Clarke and DJH are “working hard” to ensure a seamless transition that will eventually combine their wealth of industry experience.
