Ryans, a chartered accountants based in Bolton, has undergone a full rebrand of its image and website to more ‘‘accurately represent their values’’.

The firm was founded by Edward Ryan over 100 years ago and “significantly” expanded in the late 1990s. The rebranding is aimed at rejuvenating the company’s marketing collateral.

Statuo, a Bolton-based digital marketing agency, was brought in by the firm to create a ‘‘recognisable, corporate’’look, while also introducing ‘‘fun’’ into the brand, the firm said.

The new branding’s concept was ‘count on us to be clear’, avoiding complex terminology associated with accountancy in favour of more accessible branding to attract new clients.

The website redesign was created to convey Ryans’ “simple and clear” approach to businesses that it uses with clients, while also reflecting the expert advice on offer.

In a statement, Statuo said: ‘‘Careful consideration went into the rebranding of the firm, as it is important to the Ryans that their existing customers know their still the same team doing the same great work as before.

‘‘Since the rebranding and new website launched, it is clearer for clients for users to see what exactly Ryans can do for their businesses. It is now far easier to navigate through the site and the helpful blog offers the latest information on the world of accounting and current affairs.’’
