Moore Kingston Smith has announced the appointment of Leigh Collins as tax partner.

Collins has over 25 years of experience in the sector and has been advising entrepreneurial businesses, from start-ups through to exit and sale, in that time.

She is an “expert” in providing advice for people doing business in the UK and entities with an international slant. She has spent much of her career ensuring entities are compliant and flexibly structured, with business operations fit for the UK and overseas.

Collins will join the entrepreneurial tax team which has been supporting businesses with “commercially driven, risk-assessed” advice for over 80 years.

Maureen Penfold, managing partner of Moore Kingston Smith, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome Leigh to the firm. In current times when navigating the tax landscape is as complex as ever, with more change on the horizon, her plus 25 years of experience is a welcome addition, supporting our continued commitment to helping our clients thrive in this changing world.”

Collins added: “Joining Moore Kingston Smith is very exciting, and I look forward to benefiting the clients I serve with my technical knowledge and understanding of the nuances around doing business in the UK as well as internationally while giving the personal service that both myself and the firm champion.”
