Belfast accountancy and advisory firm Baker Tilly Mooney Moore has announced the appointment of Claire Galloway and Halyna Bondarenko to the Business Services team.
Galloway joins the growing team as payroll manager, while Bondarenko takes on the position of Bookkeeper.
As the firm grows, it said Galloway will head up the dedicated payroll team which provides a full payroll service to clients. She joins from another local mid-tier accountancy practice.
Bondarenko was previously an accountant at a distribution business in Ukraine, where she recently moved to Northern Ireland from. In her new role at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, she will provide a full and dedicated bookkeeping service to clients.
The appointments follow two recent additions to the Tax Department within the Belfast practice, which specialises in Audit and Assurance, Taxation, Restructuring and Insolvency and Consulting.
The Business Services team services clients across the retail, hospitality, construction, and engineering sectors, amongst others, and continues to expand following the appointment of Michael Branniff as partner, who joined Stephen McConnell at the helm of the team in January.
Business Services partner at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore Michael Branniff said: “It is fantastic to have Claire and Halyna join us here at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore. Both bring a wealth of experience that will add value to our services, and we wish them each well for their time here. In today’s challenging economic climate, Claire and Halyna’s knowledge and expertise will help us continue to provide reliable and informed advice to our clients.”
Galloway added: “It is a privilege to be a part of the team at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore. Taking on the position and getting to know the client base has been a welcome new challenge over the past number of weeks. I look forward to getting to know the team further and taking on the opportunities the role will bring my way.”
