Saffery Champness promotes six directors to partners

Saffery Champness has announced the promotion to partnership of six directors across its Bristol, Harrogate, London and Peterborough offices. The promotions take effect from 1 April.

Alexandra Britton-Davis is based in London and advises high net worth individuals, trustees and family offices on their UK tax affairs, estate and succession planning. She has particular expertise in dealing with the tax issues facing UK-resident non-domiciled individuals, non-UK trusts and clients with multi-jurisdictional personal or business interests.

Additionally, Ross Lomas, based in Peterborough, advises a client base of corporate, entrepreneurial and international businesses across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, agricultural, construction, membership organisations, hospitality and property, reporting both under UK GAAP and IFRS. 

His experience spans a wide range of advisory services, including accountancy, audit, financial reporting, due diligence and valuations. 

The firm also said Isla MacGillivray, based in London, has worked within the creative industry sector for over 10 years. She provides specialist financial, accounting, audit and taxation advice to clients that include film and TV companies, UK and US-based studios, UK-based independent production companies.

Lizzie Murray, based in London, works with high-net-worth families to support them in all aspects of their financial affairs; providing tax advice and overseeing the compliance work for clients’ companies, trusts and partnerships. 

According to the firm, Justine Stalker leads both the national R&D tax credit practice for Saffery Champness and the corporation tax team in Harrogate. 

In addition, she advises corporates and owner-managed businesses at every stage of their life cycle to help optimise their tax position, from structuring and financing of (new) ventures to preparing and assisting with a profitable exit.

Lastly, Leonora Stevens, based in Bristol, gives long-term strategic advice to individuals, families and their business interests. Her client base ranges from owner-managed businesses, wealthy individuals who have been through a sale process, to landed estates and trusts.
