Saffery Champness advised The MCG Group (MCG) on the acquisition of the Jenrick Group, providing financial and tax due diligence services.

Jenrick Group is a recruitment specialist operating across three divisions, supplying “highly experienced” personnel to the technology, engineering and commercial industries.

The firm said the deal is the third for MCG in the last three months, and it comes as the organisation continues to grow both organically and through acquisition across its specialist sectors and expanding its range of staffing solutions.

Saffery Champness have assisted MCG with a number of acquisitions over the past 12 months while also supporting them with obtaining growth funding.

Niraj Patel, partner at Saffery Champness, said: “It’s fantastic to see another deal complete for MCG in their ambitious growth plans over the next few years. We have built a very strong relationship with MCG, and were delighted to once again assist in the deal. We hope to provide further support in the very near future on helping MCG achieve its growth plans.”
