Thompson and Wright has announced the acquisition of a new practice, Hanley and Co.

The firm is based in Hale, Greater Manchester, and the purchase forms part of Thompson and Wright’s ongoing expansion plans.

Thompson and Wright said there will be “no changes” for clients, and they will continue to operate under the same name.

Richard Thompson, senior director at Thompson Wright, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the Hanley & Co team and clients to our growing practice.

“This latest acquisition is an important step in our firm’s history, as we look to target new regions, sectors and organisations with our valued business, tax and accountancy services.”
