Shaw Gibbs promotes Nik Ioannidis to associate director

Shaw Gibbs has announced the promotion of Nikolaos Ioannidis to Audit associate director.

Ioannidis, who has been with the practice for nine years, has a particular specialism in financial reporting standards and has a “thriving” client-base of international groups.

Shaw Gibbs said he joined the firm as a part-qualified auditor in December 2012 and “soon showed himself to be a very competent auditor with an aptitude for handling technical financial reporting difficulties”.

Shaw Gibbs have been working with him on his career progression for some time and this has included Ioannidis being able to obtain his Responsible Individual (RI) status which was awarded by the ACCA recently. This means that he is now able to sign audit reports.
