Owing to “significant growth” in its Innovation Reliefs service line, Claritas Tax has announced the appointment of Paul Blakeman to the role of assistant tax manager to its Manchester office.
Blakeman joins the existing Manchester team, whose numbers have already been boosted by the addition of Caroline Walton and Mark Cuppello who both joined the Innovation Reliefs team in the last nine months.
Blakeman’s appointment comes after a successful last 12 months for the firm which saw them experience 75% year-on-year headline growth across its service lines.
The firm said the new hire highlights Claritas’ “commitment to bringing a high standard of technical tax expertise and quality to the Innovations Tax market”.
Matt Hodgson, partner, said: “I’m very happy to welcome Paul to the Claritas team at what is a very exciting time for the business. Our Innovation Reliefs team continues to expand to meet the needs of our clients and the wider marketplace. Paul brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience which will ensure we continue to drive our business plans forward.”
Blakeman added: “I’m looking forward to joining the team at Claritas and working with their portfolio of established clients. Claritas has made a name for itself in the sector over recent years as being a progressive and forward-thinking firm and I’m pleased to be able to contribute to this.”
