Global law firm Goodwin has announced that Dulcie Daly will join the firm’s tax practice as a partner in its London office.

Daly, who has 15 years experience advising sponsor clients and their portfolio companies, is “widely regarded as one of the leading transactional tax lawyers in London”.

She focuses on UK and international tax planning and provides tax-related advice in the context of “cross-border private equity and M&A transactions and restructurings”. She also has experience in the tax aspects of debt finance and capital markets transactions.

According to Richard Lever, private equity partner at the firm, adding a partner of Daly’s “calibre will be an immediate benefit to its clients, particularly given her deep experience advising sponsors”.

Laura Charkin, tax partner at Goodwin, said: “The tax team continues to operate at the heart of our UK business, helping clients navigate tax implications on a broad range of transactional issues.”

“Dulcie will be an invaluable resource for our clients as they continue to engage us for our specialist experience in private equity, technology, life sciences, real estate and financial services, and where these industries converge.”
