BDO has announced the appointment of four new partners to its technology risk assurance (TRA) team.

Dee Vaghela, formerly from EY, joins the team later this month and will specifically support clients leveraging technology solutions, data analytics and controls specialists across BDO’s external audit portfolio.

Adrian Hughes BDO from PwC and will assist the team in applying advanced technology and data analytics to the audit process.

Furthermore, BDO announced two new promotions to partner in the TRA team, Rob Di Santo in London and Spencer Ashworth in the north west.

Steve Rumble, partner and TRA lead at BDO, said: “I am pleased to able to welcome Dee and Adrian to the firm today. These appointments come as part of our continued investment in our wider audit and assurance team and both new partners bring years of experience to complement the expertise of our team.

“The demand for technology and data analytics as part of the audit process has grown significantly in recent years with these appointments and recent promotions a reflection of this shift and BDO’s continued commitment to providing high quality audits.”

He added: “Over the last few years BDO’s technology and risk assurance team has grown to over 100 partners and colleagues, supporting a wide variety of clients and increasingly complex audits across London and the South East, the Midlands and the North.”
