Chartered accountants and business advisors Anderson Anderson and Brown (AAB) has promoted 58 members of staff at its Aberdeen and Edinburgh offices.

The firm said it comes after “significant” growth over the last 12 months, and promotions to the firm’s senior management team account for nine of the moves. They include: Matthew Allan (Audit), Hilary Dyson (Cloud Accounting), Nicola Rollings (Restructuring & Recovery), Vikki Venerus (Wealth Management).

Other moves include: Stephen Lawie (Software and Systems), Lisa Smith (Business Advisory), Katy Thomson (Corporate Tax), Fiona Sewell (Audit) and Richard Petrie (Corporate Benefits).

As well as acknowledging the skills and contributions of these individuals, the promotions strengthen AAB’s plans to reach its “ambitious” growth targets through new opportunities in traditional and specialist services.

Managing partner, Graeme Allan, said: “As AAB continues to grow, we strive to work in complete partnership with our clients. These promotions demonstrate that we have specialist skills to provide unrivalled awesome service.

“It also shows our dedication to career progression across the firm which is one of the key reasons we attract and retain top talent.”

He added: “The promotions are extremely well deserved and recognise the skill and expertise of each individual. I am confident they will all play an important role in our efforts to further enhance our service delivery while meeting clients’ demands and needs.”
