The British Accountancy Awards has revealed the shortlist for the 2019 event taking place on 25 September, with KPMG and MacIntyre Hudson leading the nominations.

Tax firm, KPMG lead with four nominations for ‘International Firm of the Year’, ‘Graduate and Non-Graduate Program of the Year’ and ‘Large Firm Innovation of the Year’. In addition, Hannah Wroblewski, assistant manager- audit innovations product owner at the business, has also been nominated for ‘Rising Star of the Year.’

Joining KPMG with four nominations, MHA MacIntyre have also been nominated for ‘Graduate and Non-Graduate Program of the Year’, ‘Audit Team of the Year’ ‘Tax Team for the Year’ and ‘National Firm of the Year.’

Chartered accountant firm, RPG Crouch Chapman follow close behind KPMG and MHA MacIntyre with three nominations, which include ‘Mid-Term Firm of the Year’, ‘Audit Team of the Year’ and ‘Tax Team of the Year.’

Comedian and Channel 4’s ‘8 out of 10 cats’ team captain, Sean Lock, 56, was confirmed by BAA as the host of this years British Accountancy Awards.
