Haynes Boone has appointed Alexandra Ueno-Park as its latest partner in its London office, as part of its ongoing expansion strategy.

Ueno-Park is the fourth partner to join Haynes Boone in the last six weeks, and will establish and lead the firm’s UK tax practice, strengthening its ability to advise clients on UK and international tax matters across Europe, Asia, the US and the UK.

Her appointment is intended to increase the offering of Haynes Boone services, significantly improving the firm’s global growth strategy, allowing clients to access integrated tax advice alongside its expertise in corporate, finance, real estate and disputes.

Ueno-Park’s extensive experience prior to joining Haynes Boone spans from corporate tax and private equity structuring to real estate, VAT and employment tax. Past positions have included senior roles at international law and professional firms, including Deloitte, White and Case and EY as well as private and in-house leadership roles.

The addition of Ueno-Park also builds upon Haynes Boone’s tax practice group across the United States and Mexico, where lawyers currently advise clients on a wide range of domestic and international tax matters.

Nick Davis, managing director of Haynes Boone’s London office said: “Alexandra’s arrival is another important milestone in the continued growth of our London office.

“As our platform continues to expand, adding a highly regarded tax partner with Alexandra’s breadth of experience enhances our ability to provide clients with seamless, commercially focused counsel across a broad range of transactions and matters. She is an excellent fit for our collaborative culture and long-term vision.”

Ueno-Park added: “I was drawn to Haynes Boone because of the firm’s collaborative culture, entrepreneurial mindset and clear commitment to strategic growth.”

“Tax touches virtually every business transaction, and I look forward to working closely with colleagues across the office and firmwide to help clients navigate complex issues in a practical, business-focused way.”
