Joint administrators from Quantuma have completed the sale of the business and assets of Fairoak Foods, a premium food manufacturer based in Surrey

The deal provides continuity for the firm and secures the roles of approximately 60 staff members.

Kelly Mitchell and Alyson Richards were appointed as joint administrators over the company on 25 March 2026.

The business continued to trade under their control while a buyer was sought through a marketing process that generated several offers from investors and industry buyers.

Founded in 2011, Fairoak Foods produces small-batch products including vegan soups, pasta, and stews for premium retailers and food service operators.

The company provides end-to-end services from product development and sourcing to manufacturing and supply chain management.

The administrators stated that the accepted offer provided the best outcome for creditors while ensuring the preservation of the workforce.

The identity of the purchaser has not been disclosed, but the sale allows for the continued supply of major client brands.

Kelly Mitchell, managing director at Quantuma and joint administrator, said: “I am incredibly pleased to complete the sale of this premium private-label manufacturer of high-quality, chef-led food. We were able to run a comprehensive sales process without delay and thereafter completed a sale within just eight weeks.

“In addition to maximising realisations, the successful bid ensures the continuation of trade to support major client brands and protects the jobs of around 60 staff. It was important for us to find a buyer, whilst continuing to trade the business as a going concern.”
