Accounting firm BK Plus has acquired Task Accounting, extending its presence into North Wales with offices in Colwyn Bay and Llanrwst.

The move follows recent expansion by BK Plus into South and West Wales, where it established offices in Swansea, Pembroke, and Llanelli earlier this year.

Task Accounting provides accounts, tax, and advisory services to owner-managed businesses.

The firm will continue to operate from its existing locations under the BK Plus group.

BK Plus launched in 2021 and now operates from more than 45 offices. The group employs a total of more than 900 people.

Shaun Knight, chief executive, said: “This is an important step for us as we continue to build our presence across Wales. We have already established a strong platform in South and West Wales, and bringing Task Accounting into the group allows us to expand further into North Wales with a team that is well respected locally.

“Jamie and his team have built trusted relationships with their clients and provide clear, practical advice. That is exactly what we look for. As we continue to grow, our focus remains the same: supporting businesses through strong local teams, backed by the wider expertise of the group.”

Jamie Northcott, managing director of Task Accounting, added: “Joining BK Plus allows us to offer our clients broader support while continuing to deliver the service they know us for. We will continue to work with our clients locally, now with access to additional resource and specialist expertise across the group.”
