S&W has appointed Julie Latta as a partner in its advisory consulting team, where she will help lead procurement and supply chain consulting. Latta, who will be based in S&W’s London office, brings more than three decades of experience in procurement, supply chain transformation and cost efficiency improvement to the role.

She has held senior leadership roles across major consumer, hospitality, retail and global brands before transitioning into consulting. Her career spans senior procurement and supply‑chain roles across major brands, beginning at M&S and Hilton, before progressing to European supply‑chain leadership at Sodexo and procurement transformation roles at Aramark.

She later served as global director of commercial procurement at Burberry, where she delivered global strategy and efficiency programmes.

Most recently, she was a director at Siemens Advanta Consulting, formerly known as Vendigital. While at Siemens, Latta led multi-phase cost reduction, procurement and operational improvement projects across the consumer goods, leisure, retail and manufacturing sectors.

Latta said: “Having spent much of my career running procurement and supply chain functions in complex, fast‑moving businesses, I’ve seen the value of balancing cost, quality and resilience, and of using data to drive better decisions. I’m excited to be joining S&W to bring that practical, real‑world experience to clients and to support the continued growth of the firm’s consulting practice.”

Claire Burden, head of Consulting at S&W, added: “Julie brings a wealth of procurement and supply‑chain expertise at a time when many organisations are under pressure to improve margins, manage input‑cost volatility and deliver sustainable efficiencies. Her blend of industry and consulting experience, combined with her track record of leading complex transformation programmes, makes her an exceptional addition to our partnership.

“We are thrilled to welcome Julie to S&W and look forward to the impact she will have on our clients and our growing consulting team.”
