PKF Littlejohn Advisory has appointed Stratford Hamilton and Oliver Collinge as partners.

Hamilton leads the contentious insolvency team and has managed investigations into Public Interest Lawyers and Philip Shiner.

He has also worked on corporate and bankruptcy cases for data protection and digital services regulators. Hamilton is known for his work on sensitive insolvency assignments and investigations into creditor interests.

Collinge is based in Leeds and manages restructuring, rescue strategies, and asset recovery involving fraud. He recently led disposals for the Feversham Arms and Lumley Castle Hotel in the hospitality sector.

He also managed administrations for Caldwell Construction and Stratton Land. Collinge is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a licensed insolvency practitioner.

National head Paul Williams said: “These two promotions are not only an acknowledgement of their contribution to the success of our firm, but also demonstrates the quality, diversity and cohesiveness of our PKF team nationally. Together we look forward to supporting our clients in what is an ever more challenging environment.”

Collinge added: “In today’s volatile economic climate, the expertise of insolvency practitioners has never been more relevant. Supporting management teams and investors to prevent business failure when possible, securing optimal outcomes for creditors when insolvency cannot be avoided, and scrutinising transactions that may have unfairly disadvantaged creditors are key to preserving value and maintaining confidence throughout the market.”

Hamilton said: “I’m proud to be stepping into the role of partner at a time when investigative insolvency work is more crucial than ever. With rising scrutiny around financial irregularities and director conduct, our focus on uncovering the facts and recovering value for stakeholders has never been more important.”
